Horseshoes have long been recognized as a symbol of good fortune. In the United Kingdom, a replica of a horseshoe is considered to be an important wedding accessory, as it is believed to ensure a happy union. One source of this tradition is St. Dunstan, a tenth-century metalsmith, who gave the horseshoe strong power against evil. Current-day metalsmith and farrier William Kuegel designed these versatile horseshoes to be included in your wedding, then worn or displayed as keepsakes for years to come. Note: A copy of this legend is included with each horseshoe pin. The wedding horseshoe pictured above is highly polished. |
